Survivor Spoilers: Edge Of Extinction Immunity Challenge First Look [PICS]

Survivor 2019 is just one day away and we’ve got your first look at the Edge of Extinction immunity challenge you’ll see on the premiere episode Wednesday night.

As you probably already know, 18 castaways will be competing on two tribes this season. Those two tribes are made up of 14 brand new players and four returning players: Joe Anglim, Kelley Wentworth, Aubry Bracco and David Wright. And this season when someone is voted out, they’ll secretly have two choices to make: Go home or go to the “Edge of Extinction,” where they’ll be pushed further than before for a shot at re-entering the game.

We’ll learn more about the new season’s grueling twist and the 18 contenders on Wednesday night, but right now we have a look at the first immunity challenge. It’s typical Survivor fare, giving the castaways several intense layers, including a rope course to maneuver, some balance beams to cross, knots to unravel and a giant slider puzzle. One team will win immunity, of course, and the other will head off to the first Tribal Council of the season where one will get voted out and possibly make game history as the first to head to the Edge of Extinction. Be sure to check out the immunity challenge photo gallery below.

And don’t forget to join us back here Wednesday night at 8 PM EST as we launch our first Survivor 38 live recap of the season. We will keep you updated with all the twists and turns and challenge results, as well as who is eliminated right as it happens. And stay with us every weekday this season as we bring you updates, spoilers, results, rankings and recaps for Survivor: The Edge of Extinction.
