Tonight On Survivor 41: Two-Hour Season Premiere

Survivor 41 premiere on CBS

After its long delay, Survivor 41 starts tonight on CBS! There’s a two-hour premiere for the season debut as host Jeff Probst promises us a return to the basics for the latest season of Survivor with some interesting twists.

Perhaps the biggest change of this season will be the shortened timeline as the castaways will now face a mere 26 days versus the long-running 39 days in the Survivor jungle. That’s a huge change, one that Jeff says may become permanent, and it’ll be accomplished by ramping up the pace between challenges and tribal councils. No rest for the weary.

Speaking of feeling weary, the tribes will no longer start off with food. No rice, no help, just the clothes on their backs and minimal supplies. And when they face a loss in challenges this season it’s not just a missed opportunity, it’ll be a loss of strength too. Jeff explains in the video below that the losing tribe will have to give up their flint until the next immunity challenge. Ouch!

Make sure you’re ready with the new castaways and check out the Survivor 41 cast for all the details and background info so you can start scouting your early favs and see who surprises you the most this season.

So don’t miss tonight’s kick-off of the new Survivor 41 season for 2021 as the castaways will hit the water, rush the shores, and compete for safety from a snuffed torch. We’ll be back here at 8PM ET for our coverage and we’ll see you then.
