Cole and Jessica share a kiss on Survivor 2017

Week three of Survivor 2017 has arrived and now it feels like we’re getting this game going. Castaways are driven and focused on winning, nothing will get in their way, no matter wha… oh wait, here comes a showmance. Nevermind.

It looks like Cole could finally be getting over his fears of dating a crypt keeper like the aged woman six years his senior, Jessica. I kid. He’s young at 24 and a 30 year old typically has a much different mindset in life from 24, but we’re on the beaches of Fiji and they’ve got beautiful sunsets to share over those waters, so why not. Considering the title of the next episode of Survivor is all about kisses has me thinking this relationship could get some attention too.

Next week on Survivor won’t be all about love though. Patrick and Lauren have had enough of each other after we apparently just saw the tip of the redheaded iceberg last round. The Hustlers know those two are at each other’s throats so watch for drama there.

Speaking of those lovebirds though, remember how Joe was worried about Cole revealing his Idol? Yep, sure enough. Cole tells his new ladyfriend, Jessica, about Joe’s Idol and they consider a plan to flush it out, but will they get the chance?

As for that next Immunity Challenge, check out our sneak peek below and see which tribe you think could pull off the win here. This is a familiar one with an obstacle course to cross before having to knock down all the blocks with sandbags. Pretty straightforward, but not necessarily too easy.

  1. Sounds promising for this week’s episode with the Healers’ budding showmance and idol reveal, the Hustlers personality clash with Lauren/Patrick and for the Heroes? well, we always have crazy Alan. Bring it on.

  2. Saw the showmance coming, did you see how Joe blocked Cole from getting the idol ? he sat on the spot five feet from the well and worked backwards, he was making sure he got it . Cannot sort out the players yet, but it least it looks like they are planning ahead .. Think ejecting Katrina and Simone were both mistakes but we will see . Also, it sounded like they were going to eject Patrick but then they ejected Simone, what is up with that ?

  3. Hey Alison, te he! Cole’s mistake was telling Joe that it was the well and not a raft in the diagram. He should have played along and then gone for the idol himself. He seems rather naive to me. As for Patrick – well Ryan the bell hop seems to be in charge of the Hustlers and as he said Simone was smart and he felt he wouldn’t be able to control her. Patrick OTOH, it would be a stretch to describe him as smart, lol so for now keep him to help in comps

  4. Oh yeah!! I’m all about Cole outing Joe and the idol, especially since Cole is the one that “technically” found it. Joe would be out in the ocean, on the raft right now if Cole hadn’t told him it was the watering hole! Joe shouldn’t get too comfortable. I don’t see Lauren sticking around either with her being soooo bothered by Patrick and her https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/36e08d0fb532f43b2f214775b891f061da44543cc483e1d3c384c92e8885f8ba.gif claims to not like redheads, what’s up with that?

    This week’s title something about, “My kisses are very private.” So, it sounds like the showmance is going to be targeted with the camera for awhile. yippee !!

  6. Yeah, I was yelling at him (my TV) going “Why are you helping him, Cole?!” Big dummy! He should’ve waited like you said tr8p. Instead he let Joe natch it up. I’m glad he tells someone coz I could tell Joe is going to try & do Cole dirty here. You know he supposedly a probation officer, but he sure is acting more like a criminal than law enforcement. hehe

  7. Me too, Em! I am not a fan of Joe at all. I can just tell he’s going to be an a$$!
    Right now I am also watching Survivor 8 All Stars. Unlike BB there are many seasons of Survivor I have never watched so…since I’m on break from classes, I’m basically having a Survivor smorgasbord! ;)

  8. I think crazy Alan will bring plenty more drama before he’s voted off. ;) What do you think of the new Ben/Chrissy alliance? I like both of them so far. I was disappointed she didn’t use that idol to save Karina, but I understood why she didn’t too. She obviously was already being targeted, why make it even bigger, right?

  10. Yup, it’s a question of who gets who first, I’m rooting for Cole. When I think of a healer, Joe would be the last thing I would imagine. :-P

  14. I hope she’ll make Ben see how tying himself to cuckoo Alan will not be good for his game. Alan is too unpredictable. Ben needs to let Alan think they’re still cool, but cut cuckoo loose ASAP!

  17. Lawdy, there are so many seasons of Survivor. I kind of forget the majority of them, once they are over. Once I watch them, I’m done. Not like BB where I can watch different seasons over again.

  21. Sorry for butting in, but I feel bad for Joe’s ‘client’s’. I’d hate to have him as my PO. I don’t get how he’s a ‘Healer.’ Cole is because he takes ‘at risk youths’ out for wilderness therapy. I can’t for the life of me see Joe being anything but a jerk to his clients. But, I could be totally wrong. His d-bagishness could be his ‘Survival’ persona.

    Yes, Joe does not seem like he would be at all supportive to his parolees. I appreciate that with some of his clientele,you would need to take a hard line but he doesn’t seem to have a softer line. Maybe he thinks being a hardazz is good for his game like you say but I won’t miss him when he’s gone and I can’t see him making it to the end

  31. I watch in time delay over here in London time, but I’m wondering if anyone has thought about the hidden immunity idols for the other tribes? A few season’s back Tie had a hunch that there may be idols near the well. I wonder if this time it’s the same? The question is Do all the tribes have the same chance to find an immunity idol? And are they in the same place…..? Hmmmmm.

    Blurry line between the Law and the criminal. Sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish one from the other.

    Indeed it is, my friend, especially when they give narcissistic personality types a badge & a gun. It can be downright frightening. Not a fan of Joe. Didn’t like how he snatched that idol from Cole, but Cole was pretty stupid to tell Joe he was wrong too. He should have just let Joe go off hunting for the idol in the wrong spot & then went & got the idol himself.

    Cole seems a bit naive to me, however, I still dislike Joe more than I dislike Cole so far. ;)
