Jessica and Cole on Survivor 2017

Next time on Survivor, there’s drama back at the Yellow camp after Ryan’s decision to surprise Ali and vote out Roark. Meanwhile, back at the Red camp, Cole takes a dive and leaves Jessica’s dreams in jeopardy.

You’ll remember that Ryan had the choice to go with Ali and vote out Chrissy or stick with the other side and send Roark out into the jungle. He went with the latter and that’s going to leave Ali in a bad spot. She’s none too happy, as you’d expect, and it’ll be his job to smooth that one over.

The bigger tease here is that we see Cole pass out, drop to the ground, and clunk his face against the bamboo platform along the way. Since we’re watching Jessica’s own “As The World Turns” here there’s fret and fear that “I’m not ready to play this game without Cole.” Okay, last week she was stressing because playing with Cole was like sailing a boat with holes in the bottom. She needs to get her head on straight and focus on her game. Then again, if she’s got Cole in her pocket she won’t want to lose a vote to keep her around in a narrow fight or later if she can get him voting for her from Jury.

So does Cole get medevac’d out of Survivor this week? I don’t think so. He’s seen in both challenges from the CBS press photos so he survives at least that long. Sure, maybe he goes down between Immunity Challenge and Tribal Council, but I’d roll the dice and say it’s an earlier scare in the show and he pulls through.

Next week we’ll continue to see the dual Reward and Immunity Challenges and the ol’ slingshot is back in action so get ready for some fun there! Which tribe do you want to see lose a member next?

  1. Oh my. Will Jessicole live on? Will Ali and Ryan make up? Will Joe make anyone else drop their pants? Will Lauren continue to have a hate on for Cole? So many burning questions, lol. Seriously I’m liking most of the cast this season so just hoping for drama and intrigue.

  2. I hope the Blue team loses and Joe gets voted out. He needs to go before jury selection.

  11. To Matthew Boyer: on “Who Is Left: Survivor 2017 Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers Week 05” – October 23, 2017 – Please adjust names of the three teams so that there aren’t two healers teams. The bottom team you have listed is the Red, Yawa, tribe as Healers not Hustlers. Maybe it won’t make any difference now, unless some watcher/poster, goes back to check on things and see it as Red Yawa Healers.
    OR-
    Are you thinking ahead when the Hustlers team disappears??? ha ha ha

  12. Kai- Matthew has the listing incorrectly named a couple threads back. He has two healers teams listed but one is really the Hustlers. You are right that one team needs to lose one then “four each from original tribes.”

    according to my notes, the three team colors, H type, name, members are:
    Blue Heroes Levu= Ashley, Desi, Devon, Joe
    Yellow Healers Soko= JP, Chrissy, Ali, Ryan
    Red Hustlers Yawa= Ben, Jessica, Lauren, Cole, Mike

    Yup, one from the red hustler yawa tribe to go would make even ##s.
