Double trouble last night on Survivor 2015 as we waited to discover who was voted off Second Chance in back to back eliminations at the next tribal councils.

The Ponderosa jury is building and there were plenty more to come with ten castaways left on the beach and high stakes that forced them to choose between comfort and safety.

Rain continued to be a miserable component of the season with heavy downpours both from the skies above and from a few of the castaways. Was it be enough to give up a shot at Immunity tonight? Can’t be worth a 1:10 chance at a million dollars, right? That’s going to be very interesting, but before we get there we’ve got a knock-down Reward challenge to get through.

Read on to find out who was voted off Survivor last night as part of the double feature of Second Chance episodes.

Round 1 – Survivor Episode 10:

Reward Challenge:
Castaways are split in to two teams of five and compete for the luxury of shelter, food, and comfort all set at a Cambodian circus. The losers head on back to the shelter.

Teams – Team 1: Kelley, Kimmi, Fishbach, Jeremy, and Keith. Team 2: Tasha, Abi, Ciera, Joe, and Spencer.

Round 1: Team 1 thanks to Jeremy.
Round 2: Team 2 thanks to Joe.
Round 3: Team 2 thanks to Spencer.
Round 4: Team 2 thanks to Tasha.

Team 2 heads off for a reward to get warmth and a full belly as they load up in a boat while the losing team walks back to camp.

Immunity Challenge:
Castaways must balance a ball over their head while standing on one foot. Yeah, this won’t be easy. To make things even tougher Jeff is offering them the chance to trade a spot in this comp and if five of them do it then a construction crew will rebuild their campsite to better survive the terrible weather.

Wow! 8 of the 10 said yes with just Joe and Keith being the hold outs. They’ll be the only two competing tonight.

Keith slips up, drops his ball, and Joe wins Immunity. Someone is about to get voted out. Will it be Ciera’s pick of Fishbach, Fishbach’s pick of Ciera, or someone else?

Tribal Council:
Looks like the choices are still looming around Ciera and Fishbach. Time to tally the votes.

Jeff reveals the votes: … Wait! We get a cliffhanger as it looks like Jeremy may play his Idol on Stephen’s behalf. Oh my.

Yes, Jeremy just protected Fishbach. Damn. I was ready to have him gone.

Ciera Eastin was voted off Survivor 2015. Now on to round two of the night.

Round 2 – Survivor Episode 11:
We’re in the second episode of the night so settle back in.

Reward Challenge:
This is fun. It’s a night time challenge where Jeff tells them a story and then they have to answer questions at stations and be the first to get all five answers correct.

As the castaways are running around we see Kelley find a hidden clue to the next immunity idol now that Jeremy played his and put another back in play. Lucky lady there.

Fishbach wins Reward once again just barely outreaching Spencer for the win. Ouch.

Immunity Challenge:
It’s the return of the foot fetish challenge. Castaways will have to manipulate blocks overhead then start building the puzzle. Quite the silly scene to watch.

The competition comes down to Joe and Spencer neck and neck at the last steps of the challenge. Joe’s streak is broken with a win by Spencer as we prepare for another vote-off. Who will it be?

Tribal Council:
Getting ready for the vote and Fishbach announces he’s going to use his advantage in the game. He decides to “steal” Joe’s vote which means Joe won’t vote and Stephen will vote twice.

Stephen Fishbach was voted off Survivor tonight. Wow, I couldn’t have asked for a better night of eliminations.

  437. That was dumb of Jeremy. He wasted an idol on Fishback when he was not even at target. Now
    he put a target on his back. Like the way Kelly Wentworth is playing is which more low key. Rooting for Joe too who has been a target because he was winning. He is fighting for his life every week! This is probably the best Survivor season with practically everyone playing.

  438. What a night! It was awesome to see Ciera and Fishback both voted out all in one night! Glad that Kelly Wentworth is protecting Joe. Like her sneaky ways of grabbing that idol. She is really playing is right, low key.

  439. Holy stinkin’ stinkers! Last night’s TCs were incredible! This season has truly had THE BEST tribals on record! And these folks are really playing like true Survivor veterans! Ciera’s eviction was due to Jeremy using his idol to save Fishback … regardless of how we feel about Fishy, it was a huge gutsy move by Jeremy. (Kind of reminded me of Pavaroti handing out 2 idols at TC – not quite the same situation, but gutsy!) Jeremy knew it would put a target on his back, but I loved that the fallout was Ciera’s eviction… priceless! Now onto Mr. All-That …. When he took Joe’s vote, I was convinced this was Joe’s demise. Stephen stood at the voting podium, holding up his ballot and smugly said: Ah, I want to marinate in this moment. (Wish I could have reached thru my TV screen and slapped him – ah, but the universe, um I mean the TC had other plans! (Bwaaahahaha?) initially I didn’t understand why he wrote 2 different names then realized the tribe doesn’t know if Joe has an idol – so okay, lesson learned from the Wentwort voting that sent Savage home. But OMG, was justice or fairness or turkey served when Fishback was sent packing! Woot-woot! And Joe is safe for another challenge. BTW: Hey, Jeremy, you wasted your idol :(
    One last thing: I thought it was relatively smart that Fishback knew the vote turned on him due to Spencer – so you go Spence because you did save Our Joey!

  440. Well, I do have a couple more things to say about last night’s episode; when Fish boy won the reward, I was stunned he didn’t pick Jeremy first to go with him! Even Jeremy looked flummoxed! (I would have had the same reaction too since I had just saved your behind from the chopping block!) Someone at tribal pointed out that Fishy said something about renewing/healing a former alliance (regarding Tasha as his first pick). What is so fantastical about this season – and as discussed at TC – is that this year there are Voting Blocs moreso than alliances! I love that … Only 31 seasons and we are seeing a new strategy! And, as we saw, Spence had the cajones to do a Vote Bloc, per se, and vote Stephan out! Just can’t say how much I love, love, love this season … Did I mention how much I love this season??

  441. It was a great night! I’m starting to like Kelly now. I’d like to see Jeremy go next. Can’t trust him.

For the past many seasons I’ve noticed Jeff practically gives away the private discussions they’ve had at campsite; it’s a fine line between flaming the existing fires to nearly having people divulge their entire strategy or votes at TC before voting. He’s brilliant, and maybe it does give a little bit iof an edge of your seat moment’ to the viewing audience. Jeff’s challenge narrations are fantastic, too but if I were a player I would want him to shut up – it would make me a nervous wreck when he’s saying (for example) Joe nearly has it and if he does he will be In a special class of winning 5 in a row; now Spencer, he’s one ahead of Joe … It’s like listening to Harry Carey doing a play-by-play! His narration certainly does lend itself to making it more tense for the players. But I also concede the point that he is making it exciting for the viewing audience as well.

  447. I always liked Jeremy until last wk when he voted wiggles. I thought it a great move that resulted in getting ciera out, which I loved. so I’m glad Jeremy wasted an idol on stephen and stephen ended up going anyway.

  450. just rewatched w my son. he said,”what a bunch of sore losers”. joe is a good winner and loser. voting blocks-tired of this. it’s just a phrase unloyal, selfish, noncommittal people say bc it allows them to b self serving. I can’t stand spencer. he is the most self serving guy there.

    I am becoming more acclimated to my new town and am beginning to feel my calendar fill up with activities. I recently started helping a lady sew quilts for cancer patients, and from there was asked to help on the other side of the facility that has intake of families in need. I assist with donations to the food pantry and will begin tutoring an elementary student. They do not want to scare me away before I can advance to the middle schoolers, who I hear are quite the challenge.

    I like the director’s approach of not overwhelming us in that as volunteers, we do what we enjoy doing. This way they retain many people who enjoy helping the agency achieve their goals of assisting families who have the greatest needs. It’s a great group of people to work with.

    Yes, I have been watching and so enjoyed this Thanksgiving episode, but Jeremy, as much as I would like to see him or Tasha aka it to the end, he’s put a target on their backs with the Steve shenanigans. Of all people to align with right.

  476. Don’t ever worry about writing a long post…I enjoy them from you. I’m so happy to hear about you and your volunteer work. Wish I could make quilts…or knit…or crochet. Can’t do anything like that. I’m going to start helping at the Hospice Home where my mom passed. It’s a beautiful place.
    So, yeah…I’d stay away from the middle school aged students! That’s just me, though. They’re the ones who really need it the most….but it takes a special person to work with them, and I’m afraid that isn’t me.
    I’m glad you’re getting comfortable and working with people you like. That makes all the difference!
