We’re getting our first look at two of the Survivor 2017 challenges with some sneak peek spoilers for what the returning castaways will face during Wednesday night’s season premiere of Game Changers. Immunity is back up for grabs!
A couple of videos on YouTube reveal two different challenges and with the two-hour premiere we’re likely to get them spread out over the night. In one of them we see all of the castaways in action while the second only consists of the Survivor Dream Team doing the practice round since they’re hiding who was voted out at the first Tribal Council.
First up we’ve got a combo challenge as Jeff explains this competition is for both reward and immunity. Seven of the castaways will drag a raft out in to the water and paddle it to a float. From there swimmers will take off and we’ll see them all work their way back to the beach. On shore there are three tribe members from each side waiting to work on a puzzle.
You can watch the first minute of the reward/immunity challenge here including the funny match up of Hali Ford versus Ozzy Lusth taking off in the first sprint swim. I wonder who will win that leg!
Next challenge is called “Serpent Turf” and it’s got an all new element for the Survivor game with “paddle pop.” The last leg of the challenge involves tossing rings but with a new twist that they’ll be landing them on paddle handles causing them to flip up and spell “immunity.”
But before they get there they’ll send out six castaways each to run a plank, climb over a cage, retrieve a “serpent,” drag it back, remove blocks from its belly, unlock a combo, and then start tossing. First tribe to finish avoids date night with Jeff Probst. Check it out below.
