Survivor Spoilers: New Twist For Final Four This Season

Survivor 2017 Immunity Idol with Jeff Probst

Survivor 2017 is rumored to be introducing a new twist this season when it comes down to deciding the Final 3 castaways who go before the jury to plead their case for the title of Sole Survivor. Spoilers suggest the chance to make it to the end will be moved up a round and make it a little tougher for the stragglers.

According to rumors collected by InsideSurvivor.com, the changes will come at the Final 4 round when the winner of that Immunity Challenge will not only secure his or her spot in the F3, but will also get to pick one other castaway to move along as well. The other two will have a special battle for the chance at inclusion.

Fire represents life in Survivor and here it will also stand for your spot in the F3. The two remaining castaways from the F4 will allegedly face off in a fire making contest with the first to achieve sufficient flames winning the round and moving on to the end. The loser will leave for Ponderosa.

This would definitely change things up and likely cut down on those final round eliminations of the biggest players, but after future players expect this twist then it could just shift that critical elimination to one step earlier. Of course we don’t know for sure if this is just a twist for Survivor 2017’s Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers or if it could be come the new standard for future Survivor seasons.

What do you think of this twist? Could the fight for fire be a new exciting approach to cutting back on the way past castaways have reached the end or will it backfire on Jeff and company? Share your reactions below.
