We’ve arrived at the big drama for Survivor with a medevac tonight on Kaoh Rong that will end one castaway’s turn on the Survivor 2016 season.

We’ve been hearing about this episode for weeks and the hype machine is in full go mode as CBS is dropping more promos with more revealing details that’s helping us narrow in on what’s going to happen.

So far we know three people are knocked down by the heat with two of those revealed in the promo below, but it’s the third one that’s left a mystery.

Interestingly, we can see To Tang and Gondol competing as a whole group at the last stage of the skeeball Immunity Challenge so does that mean the evacuated player will be on Chan Loh. Maybe it’s just a case of the press material lacking a third photo. Hmm.

The other question will be whether or not there will still be a Tribal Council tonight with a player evacuated or does the losing team get a pass this week? Lots of answers tonight!

  9. I believe the person that will be medevac’d is Aubry.
    1. The person on the stretcher being carried off is wearing black shorts (or bottoms) If you look at the photo of all of the castaways standing on their mats prior to the challenge, it looks like only Joe, Aubry and Scot are wearing black shorts.
    2. The person on the stretcher has pale skin (eliminates Joe), and no tattoos (eliminates Scot)
    3. Aubry has already had an anxiety attack due to heat in the first episode. Which makes it likely that she would have major issues with the heat during an exhausting challenge.

  12. IF this was in fact a “hyped” episode and not several true concurrent life threatening incidents…sheit..either way… the producers have hung themselves. Heat stroke and heat exhaustion are nite and day and anyone on that so called medical team should have known and prepared for it. One makes you uncomfortable and your body tells you..the other is too late and can kill you. Boot camp Drill Instructors have been prosecuted for what this “game” gets away with. If I was a relative of one of the contestants I would be talking to a lawyer about the egregious neglect shown by the producers and the network. No water on the obstacle course…the idiocy ..astounding.
    I suppose anyone can say that the contestants should know better..or that they signed a waiver…crap. This former viewer is done…if I want to see someone die I’ll watch foreign news where they die in living color every nite.

  14. Not sure about jurisdiction (since they were located in a foreign country), but authorities should look into criminal prosecution for the ridiculously dangerous situation producers put these people in. I really hope there is a tremendous backlash. There is no need for this.

  15. Absolutely no one on the “Brawn” team deserves to win. Scot and Jason, you’re bullies and I hope you see what all of America saw when you were complete asses!!!!!!

  18. Thought: Are the contestants not responsible for drinking more water before such an exercise? They have fire now and can boil plenty of water. I think these conditions got ahead of everyone. How could medical be responsible for Caleb’s fall? He looked fine and was throwing balls while others looked worse! Shoot, if production should have seen something coming, who would let a 98-pound woman out there in the first place? But yet, she’d be the first to say she should be allowed to try. And It was the muscle-bound dude who overdid it this time. I’d say Survivor producers learned a lesson with this and it will affect how they handle such conditions in the future. As they should. But do we really want production interfering with the natural course of things?

  21. I disagree. First of all, the game itself was hardly dangerous. No one got hurt (like they do all the time in the blindfold challenge). It was just the heat coupled with dehydration. But those two factors are why the game is called Survivor. People choose to apply to the show. They know what they are getting into, and they are willing to do it. If castmembers aren’t willing to take the risk, they shouldn’t apply for the game.

  25. Plus they have to pass extensive medical and psychological tests before they can be cast as well.

  27. Yes, absolutely. I love Survivor, I’ve been a fan since the beginning, no way will this stop me from watching.
