Tonight we kick off a brand new season of Survivor 2022 with 18 new castaways, some of our favorite twists (and some that won’t be returning), hidden immunity idols, and more! In the Survivor 43 premiere, titled “LIVIN,” we will watch as this season’s castaways start the battle for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million grand prize! Read on to find out more about tonight’s episode of Survivor!
The season premiere of Survivor 43 will kick off with Jeff Probst standing in front of the castaways and delivering one of his start-of-the-season motivational speeches. He talks about how great the game of Survivor is because everyone can apply and compete since there aren’t many rules. They build a community with their fellow tribemates, they work together to win challenges while also voting each other out week after week.
After an inspirational speech that only Jeff Probst could deliver, the castaways are then given their tribe names: Vesi, Baka, and Coco. They are all very excited to be there and are able to get a look at their fellow tribemates and take in the beautiful scenery that Fiji offers. They are then surprised with news from Jeff that they will be jumping right into their first Reward Challenge of the season!
In the first stage of the Reward Challenge, two castaways from each tribe will head into the jungle and grab two heavy wooden crates and bring them back to the beach. Once they have returned with their crates, two more castaways from each tribe will jump in the water, swim out to a boat that has more crates on it, unclip it and drag it back to shore.
Make sure you come back later tonight for my live recap of the Survivor 43 season premiere and find out which tribe wins reward and which tribe will take a win at the first Immunity Challenge of the season! Do you have any preseason favorites going into this season of Survivor 2022?
